Though you can find some boilerplates on the official ReactIS website, I've chosen react-slingshot from Cory House (he has great react- and redux-related courses on Pluralsight, btw). It uses all the power of webpack and is ready-to-go to production. As for sagas, you can find Beginner Tutorial here.
To structure React projects, two main approaches can be used: grouping by file types or grouping by features.
I prefer the last one, mostly because it reduces visual clutter.
When you move a part from an old app to a new one, there is a tedious piece of work: changing paths of all the imports and rearranging files into the folders. You want it to be perfect, right, so be prepared to roll up your sleeves. There is a bonus for you here: possibility to learn all the interconnections in the code better.
Fingers crossed, hope to get my app up and running tomorrow :)
